Legacy
The story of the Ajit Group is inextricably linked to not only to the genesis of heritage establishments in India but also to Jodhpur’s history. The Ajit Group derives its name from Major-General Maharaj-Dhiraj Sir Ajit Singh, a scion of the illustrious lineage that ruled the erstwhile princely kingdom of Jodhpur. His father, HH Maharajah Sir Sardar Singh, was a visionary ruler whose steadfast leadership and unwavering dedication to Jodhpur’s development formed a lasting legacy — one that his son, Sir Ajit Singh, would honour and carry forward, shaping a tradition of excellence steeped in royal heritage that continues to inspire to this day.
